Morning everyone!
Sharing some news from the Carolina International & Horse Trials this past weekend! As you know, Sheri Thornley, competed Azari, "Ari," in the Open Training-C division. The team finished in 3rd place out of over 25 competitors in a very difficult Training-level division!! Way to go Sheri! Ari had a great 26.40 dressage score, and made it around clear cross-country with a few time penalties and 4 minor stadium jumping penalties in what Sheri classified as "a spooky round." Overall, Sheri is very pleased with Ari and now knows what he needs to work on for the next event!

Don't forget about Stormy! He's for sale!
Good morning!
I hope everyone is staying warm in this awful snowfall...again! The poor horses are probably confused as many of them have already begun shedding for springtime...and now, snow?!
I wanted to remind everyone about a lovely horse I have for sale, Stormy. Lunar Legacy, aka "Stormy," is a beautiful 16.1h 5-year-old OTTB chestnut with lots of chrome. He has a solid build with lots of muscle, big boned, and great feet. Stormy also has an exceptional brain - he takes everything in stride and is super sweet with a gentle nature. He hacks alone or with company and has nice gaits. Stormy loves to jump and is very brave cross country. He has tons of potential and is going to make someone a REALLY nice show or pleasure horse. Could go eventing, do jumpers, or hunters. Take him to the T.I.P. shows and make some money!
Stormy competed at the Waredaca starter Horse Trials 11/3 finished 8th on a 46 (Beginner Novice 26) he was AWESOME never looked twice at ANYTHING.
Price negotiable to good home but will become more firm the more he does! Really really good mind I cant stress this enough. Please contact me at: sherithornley@msn.com for more info and pricing. I really want to find this great horse his perfect home!

Sheri escaped Maryland just in time!!
Good afternoon bloggers,
Southwind's owner, Sheri Thornley, was able to leave Maryland just in time to miss today's snow! Lucky duck! Sheri headed to Southern Pines, North Carolina to prepare for the upcoming Southern Pines Horse Trials this weekend, March 8 & 9th. She will be competing Azari, "Ari," in the Open Novice division. Although we are extremely jealous, we are very happy that Sheri, Ari (and of course Spike) made it to Southern Pines safe and sound. Stay tuned for results of the horse trials!
