Maryland temperatures are skyrocketing today and we are predicted to break the record for the area. Here at Southwind Farm we work diligently to make sure each and every one of our horses is taken care of and as cool as possible, but it's important for all of us to be reminded of things we can do to keep our horses cool. When dealing with hot temperatures, Loving said the most important thing an owner can do is provide his or her horse with plenty of fresh water."
